A private-like public school. Dr. Barlow is a leader among leaders. He challenges not only the teacher - student, but the teacher - teacher professionalism. It is a wondrous place to work and learn.

We absolutely LOVE this school! My son has had the best teachers so far. Mrs. Clelland in Kindergarten and Mrs. Lacey currently in the first grade. The teachers love and care about the children and make learning lots of fun. The teachers are always available and encourages parent involvement.

I am so thankful for Riveride this year. When we moved here, we set up a meeting with the school to discuss our child and they worked very hard to make us feel welcome. The parent involvement is great and we love participating in the night time events. The AP and principal were very friendly and made us feel like a part of team for our child's learning. Thanks Riverside for an A+ year!

This school is very over-rated. cliques in the pta, parents not invited to meetings. Principal is never around and does not know any parents or children. Teachers are good. clubs only open to 5th graders or the 'clique kids' in 4th grade. Too much focus on CRCT and not enough on life lessons/learning. UGH what a mistake moving here!

We moved to the US from Latin America recently and our second grader daughter found in Riverside a friendly environment that made for her transition a really smooth and enjoyable one. Her teacher is a loving and caring individual that encourages love for study and the highest values.

My daughter is in Kindergarten at Riverside this year and absolutely loves it! Mrs. Clelland is an excellent teacher. The PTA, staff and administration are all excellent. I love how they communicate and get everyone involved. The school runs so smoothly for being such a large school. Students are receiving a private school education at a public school!

My children love Riverside and all of their teachers. I am so impressed that we have so many ways to be involved. I also love the fact that the school gives parents a chance to give input about their child's placement. The matches for my children have been perfect. As a single parent, I am so blessed to have children at this school! Thanks Riverside for a job well done!

I also believe their hunger for good rating in the school sys interferes with itergrity or lack there of. I think it's a good school but if you are not well connected in the PTA, your child/children will be victim(s) of favortism plague due in part to the 'good old boys' type of administration.

I have 2 children (soon to be 3) at Riverside. We moved from out of state a few years ago and I had researched schools in the area. We moved to the Riverside school district because of the schools. I was not disappointed. The principal and teachers are excellent and parents are very involved.
