My school is great!! Swainsboro High i the best school in all the surrounding counties! We have pride, character, and our scores have been climbing for years. I love my school. The teachers are great. And i wasn't a fan of our principal at first but she has shown to be a great leader who knows how to run a school with compassion and power. SHS TIGERS RULE! TIGERS LIVE TIGERS DIE, BUT I CAN'T HIDE MY TIGER PRIDE!!
This schools need to undergo an audit. Nice looking on the outside. But, lacking structure on the inside and this is starting with the Principle.
I think swainsboro is a wonderful town to raise a child in but as far as the school/education system goes....I cannot say the same. I, myself was raised in the public schools my entire life in jacksonville, florida and was extremely lucky to have a great school system but unfortunately, i am having to move my son totally out of this state in order to get him a good education. The town itself is very nice but i don't feel like the schools in swainsboro prepare the kids for 'reality' out in the real world! my son still has two more years of school left and i'm praying that i can salvage his education by moving him to a better school system.
This school could be better, but over all it is pretty good.
SHS was a great environment to be in and I do miss the people. I was very active in sports, clubs, and music. Academically, it s pretty good but I don't think I was prepared for college. Its not enough to give the work/assignments students need guidance as well for life after SHS. Luckily I had parents who went to college to guide me about great schools and career choices. I was lucky; not everyone has that. We need to get students thinking outside the box and out of that small town syndrome. SHS step your game up. There is a career exploratory class in middle school, but why not high school! Each yr. students need to take a career/college prep class whether they want to go or not to help in the transition to college or the workforce. We need to better groom our future.
My name is tyrus richards and i am a student at s.H.S. I think that s.H.S. Is a great school. It offers all the qualifications we as students need to graduate. This school and its staff helps us tp strive for the best and push us to go farther in life. I thank everyone at this school who has helped me along the way!! special thanks to : ms. I'm student at Swainsboro High School and it is my belief that the school is in need of dramatic improvement. It is highly unorganized at times. It does however, have a select few who strive to give the students a good education and an experience that will live with us forever.
I recently have attended Swainsboro High School and the facility is great and the faculty are all wonderful people. I would love for everyone to be a part of the life and educational experience that is obtained from this great school.
I recently put my child in SHS his grades have really improved and he is overall happy with his new group of friends. I would highly recommed this school.
