I love this school so much! I wish at school there could be healthier foods though.

My two children started at NJES this year and we could not be happier. The Principal and a Second Grade teacher spent one on one time with my son over the summer readying him for the upcoming year (little behind in reading skills). The staff are personable, friendly and care about the children. My boys are both enjoying shool like never before and doing very well as a result. I love this school and highly recommend.

When my husband and I first moved here, I had decided to home school my son. Then a neighbor started bragging about North Jackson. So I went to check it out and boy I'm glad I did. I was so impressed with the way these teachers (all of them) seem to care so much about these kids, and they care so much about their learning. I was raised in Gwinnett Co. Schools, and I never saw or experienced anything like what NJES has offered to my child. The only think that I was disappointed in was the lack of extra-curricular things for the younger ages. But I know they have to work within a budget, and when they get it, we will get the teachers needed for the art and music for the younger grades.

This is our first year at North Jackson, as we recently moved from Gwinnett County. We couldn't be any happier with this school, and our only regret is that we didn't move here sooner! Our 5th grader has never liked school and has always struggled academically. That is until he started at N. Jackson. For the first time in his life he enjoys going to school, and his grades are better than they have ever been. His teachers and the faculty are spectacular! The faculty and staff truly care about the students and their families. If a student is struggeling in an area they offer FREE tutoring (we were paying $40/hr for a teacher to tutor in Gwinnett!). If you are considering moving to the area, I highly recommend this school district!!! We are so glad that we did.

I really like the teachers! The buses seem to be real safe! I just wish the P.E. class was more about exercising! I also wish the bus got to the school earlier so my kids would have a little more time to eat breakfast!

My family loves North Jackson. We have one in kindergarten & one in 3rd grade. I have been very pleased with all of the teachers my children have had (We've been with this school for 4 years). They work with the children and the parents to provide the BEST education possible. If my child was struggling in an area, the teacher would work with him until the problem was resolved. The faculty seems to really care about their students. Any time one of my children has been absent, someone in the school office will call to see if they are okay. That has meant a lot to me, knowing that they care enough to call and check on my child. I love my children being North Jackson!

This is a school that excells in many categories. The principal and vice principal are seen doing janitorial duties when needed. They work hard to keep the school clean. When my daughter was in kindergarten, she said one of the reasons that she loved North Jackson was because her principal was very nice. Also, the teachers go out of their way to learn new ways to teach their subjects. The children are doing really well on the standardized tests. Our kids have Panther Pride.
