Taylorsville Elementary is directly responsible for my happiness and success as an adult. I was a gifted child with ADD, and they were warm, nurturing, and extremely accomodating. The teachers and administration at this school are phenomenal (Dr. DiPetta is principal now, and was assistant principal when I attended). They allowed me to accelerate my math studies without separating me from my peers. Taylorsville Elementary used my family's cultural differences as a learning opportunity for everyone (including us), something I never found at any other Bartow County school. I went on to attend a great university, get a masters degree, and I work in a field I love. All of this is tied to how wonderful the school was.

We have been very happy with Taylorsville Elementary. This is my son's fifth and final year at TES. Taylorsville is a smaller school in the county which makes the kids feel right at home, safe, and comfortable. I have been very pleased with my son's teachers each year. I cannot speak highly enough of the Gateway (Gifted & Talented) Program and teacher. She is the best!

Very disappointing, my son has ADHD and all the advice I got was to medicate him. I chose not to send him back after the first grade, and he will not be returning to this school.

I think it is a well-laid out school with great inspirational and creative decorations. I'm impressed with the education they give there and how many parents are involved.
