Taylorsville Elementary is directly responsible for my happiness and success as an adult. I was a gifted child with ADD, and they were warm, nurturing, and extremely accomodating. The teachers and administration at this school are phenomenal (Dr. DiPetta is principal now, and was assistant principal when I attended). They allowed me to accelerate my math studies without separating me from my peers. Taylorsville Elementary used my family's cultural differences as a learning opportunity for everyone (including us), something I never found at any other Bartow County school. I went on to attend a great university, get a masters degree, and I work in a field I love. All of this is tied to how wonderful the school was.

We have been very happy with Taylorsville Elementary. This is my son's fifth and final year at TES. Taylorsville is a smaller school in the county which makes the kids feel right at home, safe, and comfortable. I have been very pleased with my son's teachers each year. I cannot speak highly enough of the Gateway (Gifted & Talented) Program and teacher. She is the best!

Very disappointing, my son has ADHD and all the advice I got was to medicate him. I chose not to send him back after the first grade, and he will not be returning to this school.

I think it is a well-laid out school with great inspirational and creative decorations. I'm impressed with the education they give there and how many parents are involved.

Taylorsville Elementary School is providing my cousin with a quality basic education. The knowledge and skills she has gained and will gain from her elementary school experiences are providing her with a solid educational foundation for what is to come in the future. Thanks, Taylorsville!

My granddaughter attends this school, she is in the second grade. We absolutely love everyone at the school, from the morning greeters to the dismissal. She sometimes attends ASP also, there have been days that she cried to stay in ASP! At her old school she would cry if she had to go to ASP. It is the same way when she is sick, she cries to go to school. A big difference from the school she attended from K-1. Thank you Taylorsville Staff! Pam Dupree

Taylorsville is a wonderful school. This is our 3rd year with Taylorsville, I have two children there. I have yet to experience a bad teacher, everyone of my children's teachers have been wonderful, loving and kind, and make sure that nobody gets lost in their academics. The parental involvement is awesome, everyone is welcomed and appreciated. The principal is a strong leader and knows all the kids by name. They have strong academics but do not forget to have fun! Even moving here from another state, we were welcomed to the community and the shcool! I have no doubt in my mind that my children will do excellent in middle and high school thanks to their great start at Taylorsville!

I rate this school 4.5 stars. The teachers are always wonderful and the school is kept very clean and organized. I have two girls that have been going there since they were five years old. They have never said a bad thing about their teachers or other students. I am pleased to see this school is one of the top elementary school in the county.
