i am student and i think my school is great!
TCHS is an outstanding school. It has strong leadership in the area of principal and staff. The desire for student success is extremely high with after school and zero hour programs available to help raise graduation levels and to help students with academic needs. Students are tested with benchmark tests that will identify any who need extra help and that help is then made available. Graduation test reviews are available in all coursed in afterschool workshops. Teacher morale is good with the present principal who has been in this school for eight years. Students, parents, teachers, and community are all invited to the administrators office. He is there for anyone who needs help in any way. Safety is excellent as is the overall care of the student.
Tift County is a nice community in which to live, but if you have a special needs child, stay far away. This eval is only concerning special ed department.
