This is an excellent school. My daughters were at another school in Whitfield County and it was horrible. The children are treated with respect, the school has excellent programs for children and it is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence.

I have a 6 year old in the first grade at this school. This will be her first year here.Last year she was in a public school that was on the needs improvement list, and since switching to this school i have seen quit a difference in her learning abilities.A difference for the better. She continues to improve as the year goes by.I am grateful for the effort this school puts forth. The focus at Tunnel Hill is on the child as an individual and what their learning needs may be.I have been impressed by the leadership skills and caring of the principal, Mr. Massengill, and I could not find better teachers for my 8 year old son. My son's academic, social, and emotional growth are greatly supported by the staff of this school. I do wish Spanish as a foreign language as well as other art activities were available.
