My step-son is in Kindergarten this year at Perdue Primary. He went to a terrible Pre-K and was behind when he entered, but this school has worked with him so much and brought him not only to the level he should be at, but a far higher level than we had ever thought to expect in such a short time. Mrs. Wilkes, Mrs. Tatham, and Mrs. Schultz(principal) and all of the other staff are wonderful, and I cannot find a single complaint with how they run things. I am so happy that he gets to learn and have fun everyday. He has gone from not being able to identify more than 3-4 letters of the alphabet, to reading short books, and being able to sound out new words in just a few months. The PTO at this school is also awesome. They raise funds every year to help non-profit organizations(over $3000 for the American Heart Association this year so far) and for new and updated equipment for the classrooms(a smartboard in every class, 2 tablets and computers for each class, etc.). I could not be happier with a school, public or private!!!

What has happened to the discipline this year? The kids are unruly and there never seems to be anyone enforcing the 'Panda Proud' behavior which was a trademark of this school at one time. We need someone to be in charge of bringing the unruly behavior under control before this school becomes like all the others. The behavior and the values of the parents and students seems to have sunk to an all time low.

I am not a parent; but, I am the widow of David A. Perdue, Sr, for whom your school was named. He would be so proud of all you are accomplishing. Also, I am elated that your school is continuing to do so great. Mrs. David A. Perdue, Sr. (Gervaise Wynn Perdue)

I absolutely love this school. My son has attended since Pre-K. The teachers and office staff are always pleasant, and no matter what, I know that my son and the other students always come first. He has learned so much in his last two years here. I am so happy that he is a panda. No matter where we go or what school we have to attend we will always be Panda proud.

My son is a Pre-K student at Perdue Primary. He LOVES his teacher Mrs. Hines and the parapro Mrs. Greene. These ladies are wonderful. The end of this school year is quickly approaching. I really regret this because Mrs. Hines and Mrs. Greene have made my son's first school experience a memorable one. Mrs. Horne, Mrs. Strevig, and Mrs. Shultz are great administrators. Their passion for children is evident in every experience and interaction that I have with them. Way to go Perdue Primary!

My daughter is in her first year as a pre-k student at Perdue Primary. Since beginning in her class she continually talks about liking her new school and the fun she is having. The staff is pleasant and caring to the children and parents alike giving a good feeling of how your child is being treated and cared for both academically and emotionally. Thanks to Ms. Dyer and Ms. Huber for making her first year so enjoyable.

My daughter loves to go to school everyday. Each day when she arrives she is greeted with warm smiles and positive attitudes. Every teacher including the principal knows every student by name. I feel comfortable in their ability to create a safe and educational environment. My daughter experiences a wide variety of curriculum within her class. Her teacher is very warm and understanding to each individual child's needs. I could not have asked for a better school as my daughter's starting off point in her journey of education.

My daughter Haley has attended David Perdue for the past 3 years and I m proud to say that I ve never had a bad experience with any of her teachers from Pre-K , Ms. King, Kindergarten, Mrs. Arnett, to her 1st grade teacher Mrs. Moran. My child has excelled in every academic level and has exceeded my expectations for her age and many thanks goes to the wonderful teaching staff at Perdue! We will be moving to Tifton this summer and will miss this grand school.

This was my son's 1st year and I was so impressed with his teachers, Mrs. Stockton & Mrs. Janke! Mrs. Horne, the principle is very involved and I can honestly say that my son loves them all. It was a great transition for him and he has learned so much. He is always excited about learning. I highly recommend this school! He has also enjoyed the after school program. The school has offered workshops for parents to get them involved in the learning process, which we loved and there were many parents involved throughout the year in other prorgams.

Our son attended Perdue Primary for the last two years in the Pre-School Program. The staff was outstanding! They really care about the students. I can't thank Mrs.Duke, Mrs. Bolden, Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Eddy, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Mashburn, Mrs. Brown, and Mrs. Hall enough! They always had my child's best interest at heart. He grew so much socially, academically, and emotionally during his years at Perdue. He will not be there next year and this school and this staff will be greatly missed. Parents are constantly informed with what is going on at the school. They have a very active PTO. The front office and administration is so kind. The Med, Mrs. Welch, is very caring!

This is a great school! My daughter has been here two years, both years she had teachers that worked with her and respected her personality. She has excelled here. The kids are exposed have music, art and p.e. classes which isn't available everywhere anymore. Our principal actually is very involved with placing the children with the best teacher for them. There is also a focus (gifted) program. Our PTO is very successful and does a lot for the kids, teachers, and facility. I really can't find any negatives with this school - My daughter loves it and so do we!

This school is excellent in giving my child the well rounded education he needs. He enjoys being at school in an environment that has very compassionate and caring staff members. His teachers, Mrs. Atcheson and Mrs. Feagin, have mastered the art of making academics fun for their students. Mrs. Horn, the principal, is very interactive with all of the children. The after school activities, such as movie night, promote family involvement. My son continues to progress academically and he likes school.

Overall a good school academically. I think too much emphasis is placed on rules and because of this the kids are missing out on some level of parent involvement. One great thing is that art, music and PE are still funded in this district which is great. There's more to school than Reading, Writing and 'Rithmatic.
