Lyndon Academy I am beyond words...Our daughter was in a Blue Ribbon Award school that was supposed to be the best in the area. Due to the over crowding and lack of security, I made the very tough decision to pay for her elementary education. We are only into the first month of school, and I can't believe the night and day transformation in her! The faculty and staff are incredible and the children are so engaged in learning. This was truly a God-send!

I love the fact that at Lyndon my son changes classes. That way teachers are teaching what they love best AND he gets to start fresh with each and every class. It keeps both the teachers and the students more engaged and on their toes. Also, I think the tri-lingual approach to education starting in elementary school is not only unique to the local area but to Atlanta as a whole. It will be extremely beneficial for his future. The school is tough and does have a lot of homework, but it's done with a purpose, and his teachers care and push him to be the best he can be. I couldn't be more thrilled with this school and even though I'm zoned into the best public school in the county, we plan to stay at Lyndon throughout our son's academic career.

Lyndon Academy is the greatest private school! My daughter has attended Lyndon Academy since first grade and has been learning Spanish and Mandarin since day one. This school focuses on my child's future and is preparing her to be a successful, global, adult. I am so proud and confident that my daughter will have a successful future because of Lyndon Academy.

There a several great things about Lyndon Academy - the staff, the facility and the leadership all excel. The friendliness and professionalism is felt as soon as you walk in the door. The children are taught respect and responsibility with a great twist of fun added. I'm not sure you could ask for a better place for a child to grow both academically and socially. We'll looking forward to another great school year!

What I like about Lyndon Academy is that get better and better every year. And that is a good thing. The administration doesn't just come up with what works and stick with it forever. They are constantly reviewing the plans and improving on them. They get rid of what doesn't work and develop new plans as needed. They are very attentive to each child's individual needs. This is a big plus for our family.

Lyndon Academy offers everything EVERY parent wants for their child(ren): small group instruction, attention to each child's needs, caring teachers, extra curricular activities, two foreign languages, an amazing art & music program, and a fantastic administration. My daughter is what you would consider an average student. . . she was getting lost in the shuffle in her public school because her needs just couldn't be met in a classroom of 32 fourth graders. Her self esteem was non-existent and she needed hours of assistance, learning what should have learned in the classroom, at home. Lyndon has been the saving grace in our family. . . we couldn't be happier. As far as what Lyndon Academy could improve upon.. . hmmmm. . . that's a tough one. If I think of something I'll come back and provide this info.

Lyndon Academy has been the best choice we have made on behalf of our child's education. Our child comes home excited about her day and just loves going to school. The teachers and staff are priceless! Outstanding curriculum is down to a Science. We are so proud to say our child scored in the top 5% in the country on her SAT. Lyndon Academy is the BEST school and we look forward to many more years there. Thank you Lyndon!

Lyndon Academy has been such a treasure. The curriculum is challenging and engaging. My son is learning all the basics plus has regular classes for Spanish and mandarin. The school's global approach is that the business world is a global environment. They don't learn to a test. They do learn the critical skill of test-taking. Wonderful music, art, and clubs as well. One thing I love is the lack of constant fundraising. The cost is the cost. You don't get hit with extras all year. Price covers everything. Staff is fantastic and deeply caring.

Great educational philosophy, very reasonable expectations on homework time, very small classes, teachers have great attitudes. Would love for them to follow the public school district calendar for parental convenience, but they have great reasons for not doing so. I've seen my son's skills and confidence increase substantially since enrolling at Lyndon, and he loves it.

Even though my daughter hasn't officially started her Junior Kindergarden year quite yet at Lyndon, I can't help but rave about the school. The communication between the staff & parents is top-notch & its wonderful to already know so many of the staff members by name thanks to the All-day visit my daughter got to do earlier in the year.

We moved our son from a very good public school to Lyndon in the middle of his fourth grade. He was doing fine in public school but was becoming disinterested, only enjoying the "AIM" days when he was pulled out for enrichment classes. He was very reluctant to leave what he knew but we believed Lyndon would be a great fit for him. A year later, when it was time to decide what our plans were for sixth grade, he was adamant about not going back to public school. He loves Lyndon and has truly grown in confidence, attitude, and motivation. They have refueled his desire to learn and his love of school that he lost in the chaos of his class of 34. At the awards banquet last night, I was so impressed to see all that the school has accomplished and reaffirmed that we have made the best choice for our son. I am so thankful for all they have done this year to guide, teach, and inspire him.

My son attended public school from Kindergarten through the first semester of 4th grade. We have a good school in our area and his grades were all A's and B's. However, we felt like he was getting lost. In January of 2013, we were able to get him into Lyndon Academy. The experience has been fantastic. He is engaged and loves school like he never has before. The teachers and staff have really taken him under their wing and his confidence level has grown tremendously. We are so excited to be apart of the Lyndon Academy family. I only wish we had started him in Kindergarten.

If your child is not super smart by Mrs. Murdock's standards, you might be in for big disappointment. My child was 3 years 7 months old when had a full-day try-out at Lindon for the first time. I was told he was ready to start Pre-K, but I thought he was a little too young, not even 4. Next year we were there for a full-day visit again, but were told that my son was not ready?! How can he be ready at 3.5, but not ready at 4.5? I was puzzled to say the least. Then I realized it was April first time around and Mrs. Murdock told me that there were still 5 'spots' available, so my suspicion is they were short of students($$$), therefore my son was "ready". Then next year they could pick and choose, therefore my son was "not ready". My advice, don't keep your hopes up; read their statements, especially those about "global society" & "global citizens". If you get your hopes up, you might be disappointed, just as I was. Maybe my son is not next Thomas Edison; he knows 2 languages and was accepted to CCS in a heartbeat, and I am trilled he is going to CCS this fall. I know now it was God's will!

I can't imagine a better educational experience. The staff are each unique and offer great things. The ability to 'drop-in' and randomly see how my son is doing in his classes is refreshing and comfortable. I love that we as parents are encouraged to assist with as much as we would like, but not judged for the inability to do so. I am grateful for the commitment of everyone there in having my son's (and ALL the children's) best interest in mind.

We have been at Lyndon Academy for one year and the effects have been dramatic for our children. Both our third and sixth grader have blossomed academically and socially at this school. The small class size, individualized attention and caring staff have made all the difference! Our children now love Spanish and Mandarin. They even look forward to math class! The latest technology being utilized in the classroom has also been quite impressive. I highly recommend Lyndon for children of all ages.

This is my Daughters 5th year at Lyndon Academy. We have always Loved the School but this year my daughter has seemed to be even more enthausiastic and happy. Today she came home and said "Mom, I have always loved my school! What I love best about it is that even thought it is already great they just keep making it better! " What a powerful statement from a nine year old! I would reccomend Lyndon Academy to all who are truely looking for a "GREAT SCHOOL"!!!

Encouraged by the phenomenal parental reviews of this school, I went to evaluate the school myself as a potential school to send my children to. My husband and I were completely stunned by the level of academics. I enrolled both my children (Jr-K and 2nd Grade) after taking a tour of the school and seeing with my own eyes, the advanced curriculum that they follow at this school. Today was their 1st day, which was a complete success. They absolutely loved the school and both my children said that they don't want to go back to their old schools. I am amazed at their reactions, I had thought my eldest daughter may take some time to warm to the new school, and it makes me happy to see them so positive and enthusiastic about Lyndon Academy, after just one day. My eldest daughter raved about how awesome the class size was, amazed that the teachers had so much time to spend with each child, she thought it was fantastic.

We took our 9 year old granddaughter to NYC during her school break..We had the occasion to interface with several people of Chinese origin...On two separate occasions she spoke Chinese to different people....We were so proud with the direct and immediate remarks that we received about her accent....The first person said her pronunciation was perfect...The kind of Mandarin spoken in Beijing...The expression on the face of the second person was amazing...She was reciting quite a long poem...He said he was in awe...Her pronunciation was so good he said she sounded as if she grew up in China...Needless to say we were very pleased...These compliments are a direct reflection of the quality education she is receiving at Lyndon Academy.

Our son is in his second year here (Kindergarten now). We cannot be happier. We are reminded weekly of the quality of education he is getting just based on what he's telling us and showing us. Most recently he completed a worksheet of a blank map of the world and successfully WROTE in the name of each continent and each ocean *and* he's been reading CHAPTER BOOKS alloud, by himself in bed after we tuck him in ... did I mention he's in KINDERGARTEN!? The staff and leadership go above and beyond to ensure the quality of the education is not only a priority but top notch.

After a year of our daughters attending Lyndon Academy, we could not imagine enrolling them at any other school. The curriculum is excellent and advanced well above that of public schools and other private schools in the area. You couldn t ask for better teachers or administrative staff. When I talk to parents of children in other schools I hear a lot of I like the school, except . At Lyndon, there is no except . Lyndon Academy is everything a school should be and more.

Moving our son to Lyndon was the best decision we've ever made. The things that set this school apart for us from other private schools were the advanced curriculum including Spanish and Mandarin daily, the rotating classrooms that keep students stimulated, and the no-added fee tuition. Also, the communication with teachers is excellent, and the administrative staff really makes us feel like we are part of a big family. We absolutely are in love with this school!!!

Lyndon Academy is a school that not only excels academically they care about the welfare of each child. The teachers as well as the administration make it a priority to develop a relationship with each of the students at the school. The children from JuniorK to 4th grade have a sense of unity , respect and admiration for one another. My children love the school and I continue to be amazed at what they acheive academically.

There is not enough space here to say all the great things I can about Lyndon Academy. Our daughter came to Lyndon after being in what is considered a top rated public school district. The curriculum at Lyndon Academy is not only ahead of the public schools but has far more depth. The students learn the core subjects each day in a rotating class format, included in this are classes in Spanish and Mandarin. The school is not just focused solely on academics. They also offer a wide range of extracurricular activities for all interests. We cannot imagine being anywhere else but Lyndon Academy.

Lyndon Academy is a wonderful school focused entirely on educating and enriching children. It is our family's view that many other private schools are more money and status centric and though at first glance look impressive, do not offer an environment or a curriculum that develops children with a love for learning and a broad set of life and academic skills. Our kids love attending Lyndon and that plays a large part in our supporting this school, but their academic progress as well as their attitudes about their work, their peers, their teachers and their world are marked. We find that once people visit this school and compare it with others, its merits are clear. We are excited to have found this thriving environment for our children.

Lyndon Academy is an extremely academic private school. The children learn Mandarin and Spanish as part of the curriculum beginning in first grade. If you are looking for a family centered academically challenging school, Lyndon is your best choice. Their curriculum is light years ahead of the public school system. We love it!

Both of my children attend Lyndon Academy and love it. My daughter was very uninterested in school before she attended Lyndon and is now excited to go everyday. After only a few weeks in Pre-K she is already reading. I can not believe how much she has learned in such a short period of time. The teachers at Lyndon focus on enhancing each students positive attributes. They teach in the style that works for each student individually so as to maximize their learning potential.

We could not be more impressed with the quality of education my daughter is getting at Lyndon Academy. She is a very strong reader and excels in language arts. In her previous school, her gifts were considered different, and something of an oddity. At Lyndon her gifts are welcomed and challenged. She is not different but a part of a higher standard of learning expected of all the students. We are thankful we found a school that values excellence and fosters each child to reach their own maximum potential.

My daughter had been in Lyndon Academy since January 09, and she had been exposed to so many things in such a short time. In less than a month she was learning multiplication and division at Lyndon, when in the public they were still doing addition and substraction with regrouping. The Spanish class is wonderful, not only the kids will learn the language but also the culture of most Spanish-speaking countries. Same with the Mandarin class, my daughter is learning a lot about the Chinese culture and its language. My husband and I were not expecting to enroll our daughter in private school since we are paying daycare also for our younger daughter, but now that I see the difference between public school and Lyndon I can't see putting her back to the public school system in the near future.

This school is excellent in every way. The academic aspect of this school is superb. Learning to read only took a few short months. Spanish is taught daily. Math and social studies are way beyond what I expected at a kindergarten level. My oldest child attended another private school in this area last 2 years, and the education at Lyndon is far superior. There is also an incredible comeraderie among the families, as well as open and warm communication between parents and headmaster/teachers. Tuition is all inclusive and I have never been asked to pay for anything else for my child beyond that. At the previous school, not only was tuition higher, but there was always something else I was asked to pay for on top of tuition, so overall the cost was much higher than it is at Lyndon. I am thrilled about making this choice for my kids.

Our son speaks English and Spanish and after PK at a very expensive school that didn't value languages education, we tried K at public school where speaking Spanish was something that needed to be 'corrected'. And when we thought we were the only ones from Roswell to Woodstock and all the way to Holly Springs considering languages, culture awareness, challenge with respect and REALLY having the kids' education as a priority... we found LYNDON ACADEMY. Small environment where children are known for who they are, excellent healthy leadership and Science, Math and Languages (Spanish and Mandarin) as the core. We are thrilled and committed to the school all the way.

I have a 2nd grader and a Kindergartner at Lyndon Academy. My husband and I moved our son to Lyndon from the public school system where he spent his first grade year. We cannot believe the positive difference that change has made in our lives. We saw our son s enthusiasm for learning and his self-motivation increase dramatically. Both children are now thriving. They are learning Spanish and Chinese as core subjects. They are challenged in every class, and they love it. Each afternoon, they get in the car overflowing with exciting stories to tell about their day. The staff is outstanding. They are caring and respected. Teachers have the time and resources to give individual attention. The children are learning at their highest capacity in an atmosphere that is positive, nurturing and fun. The all-inclusive tuition is a tremendous value, and we feel the school is worth every penny.

My daughter has almost completed her first year of Junior Kindergarten and we can personally attest to her marked progress in language arts, math, and science. I appreciate the willingness of the teachers to answer questions, concerns, and give feedback. The smaller class sizes allow for more individualized attention. I love the hands-on approach to learning that the school emphasizes and I enjoy reviewing the work she has completed at school. In the future, I would like to see a more organized Parents' Association or Parent-Teacher Association.

Our daughter is in junior-Kindergarten at Lyndon Academy. We have been extremely pleased with her progress. Her academic skill level is noticeably above that of peers who attend public school pre-K and Kindergarten. We are very pleased with the quality of the education she is receiving. We would highly recommend Lyndon Academy to parents looking for a private school in the North Atlanta area.

We moved our daughter to Lyndon Academy last March and she has been thriving ever since. She is full of confidence and looks forward to school each day. She is immersed in a well rounded, educationally rich environment. The students are exposed to many things we did not see in her other school. Hands on experiments and centers, piano in music class, a fabulous Spanish program as well as a garden to go along with their living science units. I am grateful to find a quality school that is keeping the students first and striving not only to educate the students, but to help them develop into well rounded citizens.

Both of my children attend Lyndon Academy, and jump out of bed every day to attend school. They are interested in learning, and have been exposed to many things. My youngest is 3 1/2 and in pre-K. He has started to learn how to write. My daughter is 5, and is able to read. Both of their Spanish vocabulary is impressive. I would highly recommend Lyndon Academy, not only for its strong academic emphasis, but also because of it's enviroment which creates a well rounded child.

My children and I love Lyndon Academy. My girls had attended Montessori school before, but are making much greater strides now. My daughter who just turned 4 is starting to spell. Both are learning Spanish. They are in junior kindergarten and learning on a first grade level. We live in East Cobb and it is a short drive to Lyndon and well worth it.

My son has thrived at Lyndon Academy. He absolutely loves going to school every day. I see a dramatic difference in his vocabulary and cognitive thinking skills compared to his peers outside of school. The staff at Lyndon is devoted and absolutely dedicated to providing a quality education and are genuinely excited to see the progress of the students. Progress reports are comprehensive, meals are well balanced, and the facility is state-of-the-art. My highest accolades are reserved for Lyndon Academy.
