I love Woodstock Elementary. I have two daughters that I took out of private school and this is their second year at Woodstock. They absolutely love going to school everyday. They are so many programs available that meet each of their personalities. They have soared academically and are absorbing the wide array of clubs, incentives. and activities that Woodstock Elementary has to offer.

I moved my son from one shcool in the county to Woodstock Elementary and it has been the best decision I beleive I have made for him. The principal, nurse, office staff and teachers have been excellent. I tell everyone I know if there is anyway you can move to Woodstock do it! My step-daughter goes to another school in the county and I use my son's homework and books to challange her. It is a great school hands down.

Great teachers that really care about the kids! My oldest attended all 5 grades and was well prepared for Middle School. Never had any issues.

I have 2 grandchildren at Woodstock Elementary (K & 3rd). It has been a great experience...great staff and administration. As a former teacher I have to say I'm a little bit "picky" but Woodstock passes with flying colors in my book. Keep up the good work!

Recently transferred our kids out of this school because we moved and I have to say it has been the worst decision we've ever made. As an involved parent this was the best school for us and Cherokee County certainly has one of the best public school systems in GA.

I was not impressed with this school at all. Our teacher was wonderful but as far as the staff and the ASP staff - well I will just leave it at that. I dont think things are handled in a 'professional' manner. I didn't feel like this school had open arms to us parents and children.

We have 6 children and we are thrilled that our children have the opportunity to attend Woodstock Elementary. They provide a full academic program. The teachers are interactive, kind and creative. The arts and sports programs are designed perfectly for our age children. We have found they have extremely creative reward systems which helps inspire the children as well. The Outside reading program is a high priority in this school and has helped our children grow. The teachers encourage parent participation in all ways. The most important thing at Woodstock is the Principal, Mr. Vernor, without him I doubt the school could function as it does. He has also chosen a wonderful front office staff that cares about the kids.

This school could do a better job in their special ed department. I have had experiences with 5 different schools and this school is definitely one that needs improvement in that area. They don't do a very efficient job in following IEPs. If you make them aware of the fact that they are not following the IEP they become defensive and irritated and continue to deter from it. Sadly, it appears that there is no protocol for students with special needs and unless changes are made overall there will be no improvement in the future. If you have an average student who doesn't need any additional assistance this school may be suitable.
