We are really impressed with what our child has learned this year. The teachers do a great job engaging the children through hands on experiences. Our child likes to come home and teach what she has learned. The learning is really so different from public schools because the kids learn science, history, art, geography and culture from around the world in addition to the math, spelling, reading, grammer. The grandparents are blown away. We are really impressed.

This school is fantastic!!! The Montessori has surpassed all of my expectations --- I am continually blown away with what my son is learning and how much he LOVES school. I love his teachers and their caring and nurturing nature. The director is great and is truly motivated by her love for the students and the best interest of the students.

I just came back from Father's Day event with my sons at the school today. To see the lessons that I've been hearing them talk so much about was cool. The end of the school year is fast approaching and it seems like my boys are reaching new milestones! Oh, if the school year could just continue a little longer, because they really are enjoying it. Last week one of our conversations between my 4-yr old and I went ... "Daddy, I did 5 lessons today on my contract!" "Really! What lessons did you do?" "I did geography, mathematics, zoology, reading, and botany." "Really! That's great!. What zoology lesson did you do?" He replies, "And I also went outside." That wasn't the answer I was expecting, but I guess he felt he told me enough about school -- and he did! Next year we all are looking forward to another great year! To the Director - Andi and each of the teachers -- Farr, Waycaster, Lindsay, Turner, Tweet, and Lourdes you are very very appreciated certainly by your students, but also by the parents. The Woodstock, Canton, Roswell, and Alpharetta community are fortunate to have you and the school serving the community.

My child loves going to school now! We have been very impressed with the teaching methods used (Montessori) and how the students seem to really know what they are learning vs just memorizing. This is especially evident in math, science and history. The teacher to student ratio is great and children definitely seem to enjoy learning. The way they introduce subjects and roll out the lessons, it just makes sense.

Fantastic school! My child just loves going to this school. We changed from a public school with 29 students in the class to this school with 4-10 students in class with VERY caring, helpful teachers. I like the International Baccalaureate program they use with hands-on methods. Their reading material and vocabulary is more advanced than at the public school level.. They use technology well in teaching and most science studies are hands on with labs. Geography and Spanish are a large part of the curriculum and my child knows his geography much better than his friends now!

The teachers at this school are excellent! They even have a Spanish teacher. This school is super clean. Our children and all the children I see here are so happy and have very high self esteem. They changed the name last year but the curriculum is even better! They do community work, like visiting retirement homes every month. They focus on biblical teachings and character development. They even teach manners and organizational skills for most ages. the academics are advanced but personalized. Great!!

leadership fails in communication with parents at all levels. refuses to answer questions about changes in school. School completely changed names and several key academic policies two weeks prior to classes beginning in 2010. Most of faculty turned over at same time. Refuses to allow students to withdraw without paying full year's tuition, even following these massive changes. Administration didn't even tell parents first. Merely heard rumors to start with from other members of child's class. Headmistress only sent out letter listing change when parents began calling with questions.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
