Independent schools

LD Resources provides information about K-12 schools in the United States with programs for kids with learning disabilities.

Peterson’s Private Schools maintains a Web directory of more than 1,400 private secondary schools, searchable by keyword, name, and geographical region. It also provides information about secondary schools for kids with special needs.

The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS) Directory contains detailed information on nearly 300 international boarding schools. Schools with programs for kids with learning difficulties and or AD/HD can be found using their advanced search option.

Yahoo lists numerous schools serving kids with learning disabilities.

Public schools and charter schools

U.S. Charter Schools includes a “State Profiles” option on their home page.

Directory of State Departments of Education, maintained by the U.S. Department of Education, provides information about public and non-public schools on national, state, and local levels.
