Hauula Elementary School

I am a former student of this school and it has been my educational foundation that has helped me not only graduate from college but go on further to receive my graduate degree from Pepperdine University. I hope that the teachers and administration there will continue to work with parents and encourage students to reach for their dreams.

Hauula Elementary has some amazing teachers. The classroom teacher makes all the difference in the world for a child's educational experience. For the three years we have had children at Hauula elementary, our children have had excellent teachers. I highly recommend it.

This is a great school I love the staff here, they are so helpful (especially the office clerks). The teachers are amazing and fully certified.

I'm not sure who wrote the other review, but I heartily disagree! If you prefer a smaller school where your child won't feel lost in the crowd, this is the place to be. There is a Hawaiian Immersion program here that is open to Hawaiians, partial-Hawaiians, and non-Hawaiians where the native language and culture of Hawaii Nei is preserved and taught. Unfortunately, there is a charter school nearby that wants to take over the school and they are trying to defame the character of some of the staff and of the teachers. Their dirty tactics have gotten them nowhere, thankfully, and the school has persevered by focusing on the children and not the false and ridiculous accusations made! This is a great school to get involved and make a difference-not get lost in the crowd.

Terrible! I wouldn't recommend any parent to enroll their children in Hauula Elementary because the superintendent, principal, former school renewal specialist for the past decade have failed in providing an environment condusive to education. It is a hostile environment for children, families, and parents. If you don't beleive me, just question them and you'll see. For the safety of your children and family, don't enroll here.
