The school is beautiful and stunning. I had two girls who went to this school, one who graduated a couple of years ago and one who is close to graduating and from my experiences with my daughters, they love the school, the students, the atmosphere. The only downfall is that McKinley does have under-qualified teachers, however, I believe the school makes up for it in their strong robotics, band, and AP programs. Your child can really benefit from this school if they keep themselves well-rounded. I also approve of how strict the school is in maintaining their presence in public. McKinley rarely, if ever, gets into trouble for alcohol, violence, or drugs, at public outings, such as proms and sporting events.

This school does not prepare it's students for college. Most of the teachers in the core subjects have no knowledge of their course. As a student I feel that if the teachers who are no quality teachers are fired than McKinley would have only one or two teachers left to teach.

McKinley is a good school. I've been attending this school for about 4 years now and it's a great school. There are things that make this school different but the education is good. We all learn, it's just if you fail it's not the teachers fault it's your own. The staff here are great and there like your own family! c/o 2010

It's an okay school to go to. The faculty is also very helpfull. School could use better maintainance in the restrooms. Other than that education is good with many ap honors classes and so forth. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger!

Teachers care for you about the next steps in life. Teachers don't fail their students, they fail themselves.

This is a clean and beautiful school. Restroom plumbing need to be updated. ROTC program available. Centrally located.

McKinley is a fairly good public school in academic terms, especially in the math department and their Speech & Debate team is exceptionally strong. Their science department is poor, however, and athletics are alright. As for extracurricular activities, there aren't much available as the clubs aren't very active and typical high school milestones such as proms are heavily regulated and not very fun at all. McKinley does have a pretty good Honors/AP program, particularly in Social Studies/History and English. The guidance and career counselors are fantastic and very helpful. The morning bulletin is very informative and sure to remind students of deadlines or other interesting information. Go Tigers!
