Despite being a big school with over 500 students, the staff are very much involved with each individual. Communication between teacher and parent is excellent. From K-5, they emphasize the need to take care of themselves and others. Incentives are given as a means of positive discipline. Not much parent involvement in the school, being that most parents work several jobs. However, the staff work extra hard to ensure that the students are up to par and enjoy learning. I was worried at first when my child transferred to the school in second grade. However, the Principal, VP and counselor made that extra effort to make it an easy adjustment.

Awesome school. Great after school incentives, i.e., sports, chorus, band, etc. From K-5th my daughter has had nothing but outstanding, hardworking teachers! Positive and clean environment. Willing to put together projects to move the school forward, volunteer projects, etc.

Teachers like Mrs. Okinaka & Mrs. Toyama have demonstrated genuine interest in my children to ensure the progess of their learning in a healthy & safe environment. I appreciate Mrs. Dang along with Mrs. Uyeda for all that they do to create a positive community-based atmosphere for children to learn.
