This is a small school with a very dedicated staff. The environment is very welcoming to all students and everyone, staff and students, are very friendly and respectful to one another. The academics are very good and students will be prepared for college. My son is thriving here and while LHS does not have a large or fancy campus, it has the necessary requirements to provide an excellent education in an easy going atmosphere.

The teachers were great; I really enjoy the student teacher ratio; the teachers are always available for help if needed.

This is definitely a 'no frills' school with a very dedicated faculty and staff. It does well in providing college preparatory basics for all students. The faculty is made up of many long dedicated members who do not seem to keep up with some of the new teaching methods to keep the school competitive with other private schools in the area. I have two children who attended and while I am not dissatisfied with the education my children received, there is so much more room for improvement that goes beyond physical plant improvements.

This is a very small private school with a dedicated staff and faculty. No 'bells and whistles' when it comes to the facilities but the academics are college preparatory and challenging. I have two sons currently attending and they chose to attend Lutheran High over other private schools in the area.

It's a very small school with a rigorous and excellent academic program. My son was well prepared for college (the US Air Force Academy) and all the students enjoy personal relationships with their teachers. Although most parents are busy, the school teachers and administration are available. The school actively promotes parental involvement.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
