This school needs more funds. They are not up to par statewide and are quite shameful nationally, for when it comes to academic scores or even speaking properly. This would be a great summer activity program but NOT school.
This school has taught me to be more responsilbe than I already am. It has taught me the main focus for our Hawaiian people today. It has inspired me to continue to gain more understandable knowledge and pass it down to our future generation.
Excellent leadership! The cultural component rivals Kamehameha School. In fact, the students are encouraged to speak their Native language often. The school practices the principles of lokahi (look it up) and encourages the students to take responsibility for their own future! I am very proud to have met the people there and to be Hawaiian!
Superb teaching for todays youth.
