Waimea Middle PCCS's teachers & staff deserve high praise for doing the right thing for their students -- by remaining OPEN when all of Hawai'i's regular public schools are closing down for teacher Furlough Fridays due to state budget shortage. Its a huge financial burden students need the instruction time -- mahao to these dedicated educators.

They rasied my reading skills in 3 years from a second grade level to and fifth grade level

Weekly newsletters to keep the parents and students informed.Excellent parent/teacher communication.There are many afterschool activities offered.They have good athletic teams.They have fun activities for the students during school hours (Crazy Olympics, Talent Shows, and frequent assemblies).Staff at the school care about students achievements.They give reward incentives to honor roll students.They offer after-school tutoring.Parent and community envolvements.There are so much good things to mention about this school.

High Expectations/High Achievement are more than words they are the action at Bay Haven. Students must develop a work ethic to excel at this school.
