I'm a proud parent and supporter of MHOK. A great school community with wonderful educators and staff. Bottom line is my kids are thriving educationally in large part due to the learning environment created at MHOK. Teachers are easily accessible to both the children and parents. If you are looking for a great alternative in south Maui education, contact the school and see for yourself.

This school does not practice the true Montessori way. I pulled my children out of this school and luckily I did. What a waste of time and money. They did not develop any education from the teachers here. Not a good place to be if you want your children to be educated, improve self-esteem, and be heard. The public schools in Kihei are soooo much better.

Great foundational Learning, MHOK is 1 of 2 Montessori schools on the island and conveniently located in Kihei for south shore residents. Everything you would expect from a core Montessori curriculum. Campus is expanding and welcomes support.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
