We love this school! The focus on the arts, sustainability and global awareness is amazing. The kids learn how to ask questions and are very articulate. The teachers are great and the principal is really easy to work with. We find the curriculum very organized and our daughters have done great.
My daughter went to this school for kindergarten. It was such an amazing, beautuful, nurturing place. We will always be sad that we had to move and weren't able to continue at Kula.
My child was in Kula Elementary for several years. The teacher student ratio is excellent and the general environment is nurturing. However, the academics leave a lot to be desired, specifically in math & science. They are poor at best. The administrator is new and very disorganized. A kind of 'closed door' approach if you do not agree with her. The parent involvement is high. The teachers overall were very dedicated.
