YES! My daughter is an honor-roll student & a great athlete. However, the school she is zoned to attend is not a high performing school. With most Texas schools on a freeze for transfers it is difficult to get her into a school that can challenge her

Teen should have a say in their school, I did in the mid 70's. You have the right to go to school board meetings and voice your opinion, just take a parent with you, it helps.

Yes we should be able to have a voice in our high school. Since we students do attend there we must have an opinion about what we think that is good or bad!

Yes. Their opinion of what they would like in a high school is important. But it can't be the MOST important at times. Parents need also take an interest, and compromise if necessary.

A teen's decision should play a vital role in the high school decision. It is important that your child is happy where he/she is attending to achieve the fullest potential. If your child isn't happy at school, how to you expect them to succeed.
