depends on the student. If he or she is good at managing their time and duties st home then yes. If they are not as organized and efficient then no! It might only hurt them in the long run!

Yes, That is part of their responsibility going into adult hood. It gives them that will to earn their funds & get some things that they may need for school or college for the upcoming year. There we're some kids upset that they ran out of appl. 2010

Yes. It helps them to be more responsible. Only if their grades are up to par. If not, they should attend summer school so that they can catch/keep up.

No. Instead, employ your student with a "summer job" that will provide a real and lasting benefit: mathematics. Students who do not put in the time needed to master high school math will be left in the dust in when college comes around.

No. They will be working for the rest of their lives after college. They should take the summer to study for their college admissions.
