Should high schoolers get summer jobs?

Yes I think they should. During the school year they can't really work due to homework and other activities.
I think they should be jobs that they aren't going to necessarily be doing after they graduate High School.

Yes they should because it gives them a taste of what the real world looks like and they can make their own money to buy things and not have to take money from their parents. Im a teenager and i have a job.

No, they shouldn't. They are, for the most part, incapable of thinking ahead and doing any sort of financial planning, so any money they make is IMMEDIATELY spent on CDs or movies and the like. Give the jobs to hard-working adults instead.
