Burbank HS or John Burroughs HS

Hi,We are moving from the North East to Burbank,CA and the home we are looking to occupy appears to be zoned for either Burbank HS or Burroughs HS, Is one school academically and overall better than the other. Both seem to have similar ratings but we were just wondering if there are others factors that distinguish them. We have a son going into HS and one in middle school. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

I've been on the Burbank Unified Schools website, and it does appear there's a small portion of the city that allows families to enroll in either school. And from GreatSchools, the ratings are indeed similar.
Make sure you read the parent reviews here: http://www.greatschools.org/california/burbank/ Click on the schools, then click on the tab marked "Reviews." Then you can get a feel for both schools. Also make sure as soon as you arrive you tour both campuses.
