Hi nasheka,

More than likely not. All public schools are required to enroll the students that live in their borders. So if your parents are moving here with you, or you are coming to live with relatives, where you live will determine where you go to school. If that school were full, they'd have to bus you to a nearby school.

The only school options that are closed are some of the schools that require applications and those would be private schools or some of the charter and magnet schools.

Good luck, and welcome to the States!
