My children attended Wapello and had wonderful teachers and a wonderful experience which prepared them well for middle school and high school.
Wapello has a very inviting staff. The atmosphere is very friendly. The staff members encourage the children to do their very best. They have a great after school program that not only helps them do their homework, but also goes beyond what is being taught in the classroom. The PTA gets involved in the school activities and help the teachers and students with things they need to learn and grow. I have always felt welcome here.
It doesn't surprise me that Wapello Elementary is the highest rated school in the district. The teachers are outstanding and the academic environment is positive. I'm giving this school an excellent rating because it is by far the best elementary school in the district.
