It's pretty ok. We usually only have 1 or 2 bad things happen each year. Last year it was a suicide attempt and some fights, this year a kid lit toilet paper on fire. To my studential knowledge, there aren't many drugs, and there are frequent locker checks to prevent them.
The kids get placed in appropriate level classes and if they get placed incorrectly, it's a small enough school and teacher student ratio, that the students get shifted accordingly. We chose our home based on the school. The sports and extracurricular activities are many and varied and here is always something fun to participate in.
Les Bois Jr. High is an amazing school to go to,because they teach you what that they expect you to do, and they get you ready for high school. The teacher, staff, and the students are friendly and there is not a lot of bulling in the school. I would recommend going to Les Bois Jr. High. -Submitted by a student
At Les Bois I constantly feel outcasted. However this is common in the Boise School District. Some teachers (not to name names) do not take care properly of assignments due. They throw something at you with a due date and expect you to know what to do. So basically, if you aren't a straight A student with perfect Abercrombie &Fitch clothing you are outcasted from any social group at all. Just personal experience.
My child has loved his experience here. Teachers are willing to help when issues do arise. My only knock would be that teachers don't update the assignments and grades online regularly enough but I think you find that at most schools.
