Lewis and Clark Elementary School

This school is a great school if you want your kids to be bullied by the other students, principle, counselors, and teachers. My child will not be going to school anymore by themselves its too dangerous. This school needs to be check before anyother child goes. Parents think twice before you settle on this school.

This is our second year. Caldwell District's Advanced Learning Program (ALP) makes this school worth it. Our girls are learning a ton at their own advanced rate, and ride their bikes to school, get dropped off by the bus for gymnastics at the Y, and have tons of favorite teachers. The "profiency" test scores have money flowing into this school like I've never seen to bring the scores up, but to me it's just extra money because all English-first students are scoring advanced (read the district report card online). Most parent complaints that I've heard are from people that liked the first principal and never got over him leaving. Now, Caldwell middle school is another story and will probably provoke a move.

It's apparent that the parent comment made in December of 2007 has not been to the school recently. This year's PTO is awful. The school has gone through so many changes in the last year, that the school feels more like a reality show than it does an elementary school.

This is a fairly new school, clean and organized. The PTO is great! I really love this school. Teachers are great (my kids teachers are really on the ball). Can't say enough good things about it!
