Chaparral Elementary School

My child has been attending Chaparral for 3 years and we love it! The teachers and staff are great!

We have had 3 children go to this school. Now that Chaparral has one track, and not others, we as parents do not understand why the schedule is placed on the "traditional" schedule.

Really was disliked being at this school had a horrible kindergarten year and actually left the school. No support, even though the principal knew the teacher was terrible.

My boys have been going to Chaparral for 3 years. I love this school! The year round schedule is perfect for more family time, better retention, and the staff is fantastic!

Chaparral is a wonderful school. The year-round schedule encourages retention. The faculty and staff are amazing. They love kids and encourage academics. I am so pleased to be a part of such a great school.

As a year-round school, Chaparral provides an atmosphere of constant learning and growth. I have children in 4th and 2nd grades right now, and two more who will attend in the future. The art and music programs are wonderful, and they even added a spanish class this year. There are wonderful opportunities for leadership. My 4th grader is involved in student council and is able to help at the school store and in the lunchroom. The school is actively involved in the community by holding fund-raising events that will better their education and in service projects such as collecting money for the Tsunami victims. It is a wonderful school and community!

My daughter is a 4th grader and my son is in the preschool program at this school. We absolutely love Chaparral and feel that our children are getting the best learning experience that they could possibly receive from a public school setting. Meridian is a wonderful community to live in and we are very happy to be here!
