As a former student of St. Mary's I can tell you that the education your child will receive here is top notch! I now have two children of my own who are in school and I've been terribly disappointed with their education thus far (we live in western WA). The only drawback is the fact that this school in NO WAY shape or form will prepare your preteen for the Jr. High. My advice is to switch your child over to public school when they're in 5th grade, otherwise you'll be dealing with an absolute nightmare of uncertainty as your child attempts to acclimate him/herself from the smallest school in Moscow, to the largest! Best of luck!

Words cannot describe how good this school is! Parental involvement is super, leadership in the school is excellent, the support these kids get is just amazing. If you can afford to pay for elementary school education, this is a wonderful choice. Your kids will learn how to be respectful, how to excel academically (in most aspects this school is among the top 10% in the state), how to share, be kind, etc. If you want to opt for a free public school, you'll get what you pay for (and your kids will grow up and learn rudeness from those kids I don't want to describe). We started at a public school but quickly realized how big mistake it was. Students don't have to be Catholic to attend this school; in fact, many are not.

My son went to the 4th and now 5th grade class at St. Mary's. The descriptive words for the excellence of teachers and administration at St. Mary's are not in Webster's yet. They are off the scale. My appreciation goes beyond words.

The third grade teacher and aide are very negative. No excuse to call kids names when they make mistakes or get into trouble. These two are very unprofessional and should not be teaching small children.
