My 5 year old son has just started school at Notus this year where I myself was a student for 13 years. This school has a distinct quality for being quaint, personal, and welcoming. The fact that there are not overcrowded classrooms makes it much easier to recieve a more personalized learning experience. We had 24 in my graduating class(1996). 1/2 of those had been my classmates since kindergarten. Everyone knows eachother, and cares for eachother like a family. My husband and I actually moved back here so that my son could attend Notus and hopefully recieve the same memorable school experience as I had. The only downside would be that because of the small size the extra-cirricular activites are not as vast as bigger schools, consisting of only the basic/standard sports. There is an up-side also, no try-outs, so if you want to play, your on the team!
I think that it is a overall good school but they do need some help in the special education program.
