I think the principal is ok. He isnt like most people today being pushed around. Our kids are babied too much and there is actually someone to rough them up. I think harsher punishment like spankins should be put back in. Quit complaining.

My neice and nephew go to Atlanta Elementary. My neice was given a note by a girl in her class that stated she was going to kill my neice. NOTHING was done. When my brother and sister-in-law brought in the police they were told that they were over reacting. Has anyone on the school board INCLUDING this principal watched anything in the news? I hope other schools look out for the wellfare of all students which doesn't seem to happen in Atlanta.

I would just like to say that i am not impressed by this school. I have three children in this school and I have had nothing but trouble. The princapal's way of making a child fell more comfortable at a new school is just not right. He has talked to my daughter and tried to make her feel more comfortable and all he ended up doing is scaring her so bad that she didn't attend school for 4 days. I think that the Atlanta community needs to step up and say something to help better our school.

The principal of this school has no backbone. I have never heard a good word about him from students, teachers or parents. He is pretty much useless. We had a problem with one teacher who is still there and should NOT be and several parents complained about things she (the teacher) was doing to the students including humiliating them in front of the class, writing on the children's face or arm with permenant marker when they forgot something, and grading papers wrong, among other issues. Nothing ever got done about it. The principal had absolutely no backbone and pretty much stuck up for the teacher. There are many upset parents and students because the children that had to endure this punishment suffers a lot of low self esteem because of this.
