I am so very thankful we found this school for our children. My step son went to 6 different schools in 5 years in 3 different states. He had many gaps in his learning. The teaching staff and principle have worked so hard with us to get him caught up. It was a struggle for him at first but everyone was so patient, hard working, kind and dedicated to helping us. We put our daughter in the school in kindergarten and everyone is so impressed with how well she can read, write, spell, and her mathmatics and computer skills are off the charts! We do wish they had a preschool program available but we are so pleased with everything. We have reccomended this school to our friends and neighbors. There are not enough good things to say about everyoneand everything being done in theis school!
We are Very Happy with this School. This is our son's first year at St Peter's. We moved him from another private School and I only wished we had moved him sooner. What a wonderful School! The Principal is Outstanding, Her actions show she enjoys the Children and cares for each and everyone of them. His Teacher in the first couple of weeks knew where he needed help and made sure he received the help. What a difference experince makes. My son loves going to School now. We are so pleased! Thank you St Peter's Our Son is on the right path!
I do not agree with the reviews I have read below. I find that the pricncipal of the school does not convey the christian morals I would expect from a public school administrator let alone a chatholic one. Feedback I have recieved from my child and other parents is that she cares more about discipline than she does education. Standardized testing reflects that. I will not be sending my child back next year.
Best kept secret in Aurora, caring teachers small school with big heart, excelent academic standing, larg parent involment
I love this school. They are small in numbers but large in caring. I am so greatful to them for the education they are giving my son. Everyone knows the students. Great lunch program. great teachers. Great value.
We are very happy with St. Peter School. We appreciate the time and effort the teachers give to each student. Our child has ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, and Sensory Integration Disorder, but because of the care and concern of all the teachers and our principal, he is doing VERY well! Our child's needs are well met, and there is both flexibility and genuine concern for his progress. The principal knows every student and is extremely open and approachable.
We have been very pleased with St. Peter School. The staff/administrators are very skilled and work very hard to bring out the best in each and every student. My son's teacher was very concerned about his grades. She worked one-on-one with him to bring him up to where he is most comfortable. Thank you to everyone for what you do for our students!
Thank you Thank you thank you I have learned so much at st. Peter's and i just want everyone to know how special the school is. The academics are fantastic. The art teacher is willing to help you and always understands when you need help. The teachers Ms. Carolson and Mrs. Baier are the best yet they work with each child when they need help. They are the most fun too. Sr. Ann and Father George run a good school they deserve more. St. Peter's School deserves more credit. Everyone is always talking about it we may not have much money but that doesnt matter here we do just fine without it.
Caring staff and principal. Open communication encouraged. Small school with current computer technologies to all classrooms, plus a separate computer lab. Mostly 2 grades to a class where combined #s of pupil are 20-22. Teacher's aid is one per teacher, not shared! Many after school programs ( for example, scouts and youth choir,) sports and homework club offered. Religious ed. is taught as part of curriculum. Each staff member is serious about her role in school and the atomsphere is frendly and loving. All in all, this is a great little school with a lot to offer.
very faimly friendly, top rate small school. Staff very helpful. Parent involvement helps make it a loving enviroment for kids to learn in.
