I am greatful that our communitiy has such a fantastic school. Our school is full of dedicated faculty and staff all striving for one common goal, to provide our children with the best education in a safe enviroment. We pride ourselves on our test scores and it is evident that our hard work and dedication pays off. Our young men and women in our community are evidence of that. I am so thankful that my children are a part of this school. If my child struggles with anything, his or her teacher is on the phone telling me about it, or I know that I can call them at home as well if there is a problem. I can't say enough about this staff.

Bartelso Elementary is a fantastic school. As another reviewer posted, look at the test scores of our bright children! Our faculty is top notch and they all seem to feel very passionate about their school and the children in it. The school also has a wonderful PFC club that is responsible for funding various enhancements to the school such as new computers, field trips, stipends and wish list items for teachers, and the list goes on. Go Braves!

We are a small community with a great school. When someone needs something in this community, no one hesitates to help. As far as the school goes, all of the years of experience we have among the teachers is amazing. It says something good about the children and the community when teachers want to stay at our school for as long as they have. Not only are the teachers tremendous but we also have great cooks, cleaning ladies, maintenance and office staff. Look at the test scores and they will prove just how great we are.

We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful school with wonderful teachers! Most of the teacher's are very thoughtful and are willing to help however they can. As a result, we have good kids getting good grades!

Bartelso Elementary is a great school, with students and teachers who care about education. The students get along well, work together and learn a great deal, in a clean, caring environment. The people here really care about the community and the people in it.

I read the review from June 2004 about religion classes offered to the students and I think a few important facts need to be stated! I think the person that wrote that forgot to mention the religion classes are optional and are not part of the official school day! If he/she does not want their child coloring pictures of Jesus then they need to let someone know they do not want to participate in the program! You are given the option to participate, it is not mandatory. Yes, the majority of children are Roman Catholic but there are also many other denominations that attend our school but do not attend the religion program (their choice) and either arrive at 8:30 am (start of school) or can ride the bus and arrive at 7:30 am and have a free period from 7:30 - 8:30 am under supervision! We are very fortunate!

I must admit that the school has an excellent academic record and a motivated team of educators. However, one issue I do have with Bartelso Elementary is the church sesssions they have in the mornings. Our student comes home with colorings of 'Jesus' and various other religious propanganda. I understand that almost 100% of the students are of the Roman Catholic faith which explains how this school gets away with such a violation. I think it's unfortunate that such young impressionable children are being brainwashed at such a young age and are given no choice. Bottom line---if you are Catholic, this school is great for you. If you are of the belief that public schools should remain secular, then stay away from this school!
