I have a grandaughter who has attended this school for 2 years now and I believe she is getting a great chance of a very good education. She is so smart!!!
I absolutely LOVE JB Nelson school. My son is now in 3rd grade and went to a Montessori school prior to JB. I was worried that he wouldn't adjust well to a public school and would get lost in the mix. That was definitely not the case. He has had very small class sizes up until this year. The parent involvement is amazing. The teachers are friendly, nurturing, and great at communicating. I am looking forward to my 2 toddlers to attend JB also.
The teachers and staff are very knowledgeable and also very caring.
We love JB Nelson....my step daughter has recently begun attending 1st grade @ JB and I couldn't be happier. I am so impressed with the amount of parent involvement. The teachers and staff are wonderful. They genuinely care about each child progress and have communicated well with our family about our childs progress and needs
J B Nelson is an outstanding school for reading and math. They encourage parent involvement and have very kid friendly teachers.
I have 2 children. My 1st born went to kindergarden and I was impressed with Mrs. Schmidts involvement & care of her students. I'm not sure what to expect with a new principal coming in but Mrs. Sand was a huge asset to JB! My second child will be entering K this year and I am excited to see my children learn & grow in such a wonderful enviornment!
I am very disapointed with this school, They have alinated the students rights, (with that talk light thing) and they are NOT good teachers. The only good teachers that I have ever met are for kindergarten, Mrs. Katko, 1st, Mrs. Kramer, 3,Mrs.Phillips, 5, Mrs.Skar. I have had 3 students in all in that whole school district and I have only come to enjoy those teachers.
I had kids in LW and ended up bying a house in the JB Nelson school district and I can say that the two schools are nothing a like. I have not been happy with the teaching skills or the lack of comuunication from the teacher until it's to late. You can never get a straight answer from anyone.
