Beach Park middle school is one of the best schools you can EVER send your kids to. I have gone to Beach Park middle school for all 3 years and it's a really great school. All of the teachers that I had were really nice and helped me a lot when I really needed it. Even all the librarians were very willing to help me out on homework. The review under me is so not true!! Beach park middle school students are receiving a proper education. The teachers don't EVER yell at any student for any reason or take students papers that they are working on and rip them up in front of the student. The principal is really nice and really care's about the students. There are also very many after school activates for the student to be involved in especially when the state does not have very much money to give to schools now. I really hope Beach Park middle school keeps up all of there great work, and continues to hire GREAT teacher's/ staff members.

I used to attend bpms for three years until my parents had to switch me to a privet school so I could receive a proper education. This school is a joke the students are not receiving an adequate education. The teachers do not care about the student and will not help them succeed in any of their endeavors. Everyone has heard terrible stories about this school because it is a terrible school to send your children to. There are nowhere near enough after school activates for the student to be involved in. In addition to that I have been in class rooms where the teacher has yelled at the students on multiple occasions for absolutely no reason. I have also seen teaches yell at students and take there papers that they are working on and rip them up in front of the student. The band teachers is also a monster she tears down all the students self confidence and has a temper that is outrages. The band teacher has also embarrassed kids in front of their peers on several occasions and has even thrown drum sticks at the students. Pay the extra money and send your children to school where they can grow and learn in a healthy learning environment.

I also had heard a few horror stories about BPMS. However I have been so pleased with every aspect of this school. My son is in the sixth grade GT program and remains challenged yet not overwhelmed. The after school activities are wonderful and I have found the staff to be positive and responsive.

I worked in the Beach Park School Dist. and heard horror stories before my daughter started here in 6th grade (2008-2009) It was a nice surprise to find out otherwise about BPMS. From the front office staff, to the Principal, to the teachers, last year was an amazing year for my daughter. BPMS IS a GREAT school. They have their problems like any other school does, but nothing terribly bad. At this level you still have to be involved in your child's education. You still have to communicate w/school administrators before something becomes a huge problem for your child. We're looking forward to another great year at BPMS.

i went there from 5th grade to 7th the teachers use creative methods to get the students to do work by making the class funny so kids pay attention and by acting like a movie scene when telling us directions it may not be the best school and the food is kinda nasty but the learning keeps our attention

The teachers that are involved with students with special needs are not all educated well enough to teach or understand how to deal with them in a classroom. And when it was reported to the principal all that was expressed was we do need more training and this parent is still waiting for the call to sit in on the training to help the teachers understand special needs better. One parent to another there is a lot room for improvement. And to any parent who has a child in BPMS make sure the IEPs are being followed and all modifications and accomidations are being done.
