This school when it comes to a learning curriculum, is pretty good one of the best in Illinois. However this school has one of the worst bullying problems i have ever experienced. Six years that are supposed to be some of the best of your life, ruined by the schools inability to acknowledge and deal with the problems. I not only went to different teachers, but also the deans and principals and nothing was done. i have now moved to a much better school. but i am still haunted by the memories of Beecher High School.

I am also a student at Beecher High School. We have A-B scheduling, which is four different classes everyother day, each class being 82 minutes long. Many teachers do not put in their overall effort into the learning enviroment, and they think with 82 minutes they have time to relax and check up on things, instead of applying knowledge into the students. Hopefully next years schedule change will whip the teachers into shape, for alot of them lack in the teaching portion. Other than that, the teachers are all well educated and friendly.

I am a student here at Beecher High School and I like going to school here. I feel safe in the environment and I also feel that the teachers here are very one on one. They are willing to help you when ever you need it.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) to test students in grade 11 in reading, math and science. The PSAE is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
