I attended this school, and so did my parents before me. I had trouble in school and every teacher was willing to help me out, stayed with me after class, anything i needed. Some of the reviews say they are behind in education, I completely disagree! Their children must have either had very bad learning disabilities or just didn't care to learn or try. The school is great and by the time I got to high school I was above average in everything and I owe it to Cathedral. If you want your kids to have a great acedemic, athletic, clubs, friends, etc, then Cathedral is a great choice. The catholic part is just a huge plus, They go to church as a whole school once a week and they also just added a new chapel inside the school for classes to attend as well. It's a great school...

We left Cathedral after many years as we found the academics to be slow. Our children often said they were bored and little was done to challenge them. They are all A students and still felt like they were behind their friends at public school. I would not recommend this school--keep looking.

Cathedral Grade School has a lot to offer to families of all backgrounds and sizes. A lot of love going on around here and the kids learn to take care of themselves and each other. The educational quality is very high, most of the teachers have been there 10+ years, showing dedication, love, and efficiency. The school itself has undergone many updates including technology, security, air conditioning & heating. We have four children attending and are very happy with their academic achievements and personal development. Troublemakers have been identified and much effort has been made to hold them accountable or face not being invited back. Many of the students are children of alumni which speaks of the customer satisfaction. The Parents Club has a high participation rate and contributes much in the way of fundraisers and extra curricular activities for families. Music and sports programs have achieved much success. We love this school! We moved here from out of town, toured many schools in the area and loved Cathedral the best. The teachers here love to teach-we are very happy.

I think this school has serious problems. The administration is weak and the teachers are lazy. Academically they are far behind other schools in the area because the teachers refuse to go the extra mile to help children that need help.

This school feels like family! The children in the upper grades are considerate and courteous to the younger children. I wish I had gone to a school like this when I was young.
