This school is run by the large Trinity Lutheran Church in Bloomington, a 150-year-old Missouri Synod church. The 5-year-old school is now located in a 5-year-old school building houses preschool through 8th grade. Conservative Christian philosophies dominate. Students receive daily religious training and weekly chapel. Pluses: Sports, a good music & art programs. Weaknesses: Computer facilities, library, little tolerance for kids outside a very tight 'norml'. Early childhood program better than elementary which emphasize seat work, sitting quietly, and fitting. Reading program assumes kids go into first grade reading. Only parents who are church members can lead PTO organizations. But lots of parent involvement. School is location rather inconvenient. Teacher training varies widely. The public schools are not as bad as some here say. Be sure you understand school programs & mission
