very family oriented even those that have long gone graduated we have a reunoin every year of all alumni you have the feel and sense you are always werlcome and belong something ingrained like family they are always there for you and you for them. The education experience carried me through all phases of life My mother attended here. I as well, as my children and to have your child thank you for sending them there speaks volumes
Great school w/ great people :)
I love St. benedict Elementary School because it is dedictaed to teaching their students the values and aspects they need to better their future. The school strives in the teaching of Christian values and morales which is an essential part of attending a Catholic School. It is an all around great school and I am very proud of every single person that makes the school happen!
My daughter is attending St. Benedict Elem for the first time this year. Very !! unhappy with the staff. Teacher are not friendly at all. Principal has never smiled... not very engaging at all. Can't wait until school is over in June to transfer her out ( marking the days off on the calendar).
Teaches children to be responsible citizens. Has not only academic programs but a commitment to the arts, theater, music as well.
Excellent choice for both me and my daughter. When I drop my daughter off in the mornings, I feel that she is both safe and protected. The overall goals and objectives of the school surpass state requirements... The recent addition of the talented and gifted programs sets them apart from many schools within the south surbubs...great job Mrs. Ry's! my daughter is challenged and looks forward to going to school everyday! Please continue to add programs which speak to the current demographics of the school.
I am a parent of a current sixth grader at St. Benedict. I could not be more happy with the choice that I made to send my child here. They have recently implemented a talented and gifted program, which really raises the schools academic values and concerns. I graduated here, as did my mother and grandparents. Mrs. Rys, the principal truly cares about the students and works extremely hard for the school directly. The tuition rates are affordable and you truly receive what you are paying for. All of the staff, faculty, and administration are the most dedicate people I have ever met. I am beyond happy that my child can grow and muture in such a loving, caring, educational, and ethnically diverse environment. I could not see my children anywhere else but St. Benedict.
My son is a student at St Benedict and he has received a wonderful education there. The school has new programs and recently introduced a program for talented and gifted students. It has a wide spectrum of extra curricular programs including sports and the arts. Additionally, it offers pre-school and before and after programs. The students consistently score well above the national average on standardized testing and the price is comparable to other Catholic grade schools in the Chicago area. Overall it has proved to be an excellent value for us along with providing an environment for his religious faith to develop.
Education below average for the price of tuition. They don't have enough concerned teachers.
i think its a great school and exciting for the students
