Blue Cap School serves children from kindergarten-age 22 who have significant cognitive impairments (mental retardation), significant medical needs, significant physical needs, or Autism. The classes are small and each room has more than enough staff. The school building is new and beautiful, as well as being single level and completely handicapped accessible- including the adapted play ground! The staff is very well trained and extremely devoted. Because the school is small, each child is viewed as an individual and every staff member, from the principal to the custodian, work together for each child- this includes parents! Blue Cap is also a safe environment for individuals with disabilities and situated in a community in which it is respected. Preschool, After School, Adult Day Services, and Adult Residential programs are also available.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
