In reply to the previous review, I think transferring your child to another school because you think they are learning too much is horrible. The reason why they teach others spanish is because it is a lot easier for kids to learn another language at that age. Its not to force them to learn. As a parent you should feel proud to say your child knows another language, one that you may not even know yourself. The more knowledge, the more well rounded students will be as they develop. Who knows, the child might need to know spanish some day in his adult career. Overall I think this is a great school. My child comes home from school happy and with enthusiasm about what they learned and that's all that matters. This experience is about them, not me.

This school has issues. My daughter's teacher was GREAT. I ablsolutely love her. But this district in general is horrible. They cater more to the Spanish speaking students, and even if your child is caucasian, they can end up in the Spanish classes. Yes, learning another language is great, but don't kids have enough fundamentals to already learn? I'm transferring my daughter to another district, I don't want her to suffer academically, and with this school's program, they are setting her up to fail.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.
