Not a good school for children who are in need of special help. Very hard to get approved for special help! Must retain a lawyer to get anywhere!

Not terribly fond of the principal nor the superintendent. They are not very parent friendly and have found on several occassions (and across multiple families) that you have to fight for special needs (ADHD, learning disabilities, etc). They do attract excellent teachers (although I have found the best ones don't stay long). It has a strong PTO program with a very active parent base.

Parent involvement isvery high, the school requires it to be as such. Homework level very high from 3rd grade on, kids have more than the average from what we have heard from parents with kids in other schools in the district. Very safe school, in great area, in a nice neighborhood. Not very racially diverse.
