Queen of Peace has the potential of becoming a great school once again. The resignation of Kathleen Hanlon is the best thing to happen to this school in the last four years. I can't imagine how many potential students were lost to other schools because of her lack of leadership and reputation. Kudos to the Board for accepting her resignation and returning to leadership that includes both a President and a Principal.

Save your money. They give up on girls rather than encourage them to succeed. If I could do it over, I would have chosen Mount Assisi

Attending Peace was the best decision my parents and I ever made for my education. Not only is it a great environment - but I discovered so much of myself there that it is truly remarkable. I, like so many other girls, was afraid of going through hs without boys. I look back on that now and laugh. I was never lacking in the boy department outside of school, but I learned the advantages of an all girl school atmosphere. I was able to develop my self confidence and my ability to speak my mind. I was able to develop MY personality and character as a woman without undue pressure to look good from boys. The academics are amazing as well. I felt so thoroughly prepared for college by the time I left Peace. If I ever have a daughter, she will most certainly be attending QOP.

I am a junior at QOP right now, and I would have to say that I love it. I never thought that an all female environment could be a positive thing. I feel that I can concentrate and be myself in the classon without having to worry about how I look or being afraid to speak my mind. I also know that QOP has great teachers that care so much for us girls! I know that majority of graduating QOP girls will go far in life because it is such a great school that cares. :]

Queen of Peace was an excellent school. I felt so comfortable and the staff was always so helpful. They have an excellent math program. I was challenged and prepared for college. I recommend this school to all girls.

Peace is a fantastic environment for young women. The classes are challenging, the teachers truly care about the girls' success, and best of all, the girls care about their own success and have goals. (Many students want to be doctors and lawyers, and even the frosh and sophomores are actively discussing which colleges they want to go to.) The students here are nice and well-mannered girls who try to help and support each other. Very few discipline problems mean the classes are focused.

Like many of the other ladies, I did not like the idea of spending my high school (glory) years with a bunch of females eight hours out of each day. But eventually I adjusted. I started to see past the ideal image of what high school was suppose to be like (mainly based on the television portrayal). I realized my true potential (potential I would not have discovered in a classroom with males). Because I was able to discover myself in high school, I went off to college to graduate top of my class. I now work at a prestigious firm downtown. Don't get me wrong, I am not anti-male, I just believe high school is a time in a young lady's life when she should focus on her abilities, strengths. She should not be focused on how many boys she can attract.
