I went to CHS for a semester last year and I had an amazing experience. They offer plenty of extra currilar activities and I believe that's really important for a school. I believe I could not mention any serious problem, because they are actually nothing if we compair them to other schools' problems. Mr Rose (american history) and Mrs. Roudebush (american lit.) are the best teachers I could have met. I am hoping to go back there and visit them next year!

I am currently a student at CHS that is going to be graduating in the class of 2006. I believe that out school is overall pretty satisfactory. There are a few problems that lie within. I think that the most positive thing at our school is the sports and activities. I play baseball and golf at CHS and they really put forth effort to keep these great. Many people are complaining about a drug and alcohol problem at our school. This statement comes from people who dont really know what goes on at the school. The drugs, besides a handful of students, is not a problem at all. As for the alcohol, yes, there are some that drink but it is a few rebels who do not let it effect their life.

I graduated from CHS last year. This is a school that puts forth the effort, but tends to fall short of expectations. They have a horrendous drug problem there, and lots of disruption from the 'gothic/punk' cowd that seems to make up the majority of the students. The teaches are caring, but sometimes I think they just shut their ears and eyes to some of the underlying problems that occur on campus. With that said however, they have a very well-rounded cirriculum, endless extra activities and sports. They especially excel in their music program and scholastic bowl team. The positives definently outweigh the negatives.

I am a former chs student and I loved going to school there. I think that the teachers are wonderful and they truly care about every student that they have. I never had one teacher that I thought wouldn't spend extra time with me if I needed help. As I geared up for senior year the counselors were great. Everyone there is more than willing to help students and they are truly invested in your students education. Every time I see a faculty member from chs they ask about my education now. Your student will only gain a greater education by going to canton high school.

Canton high school has great students and outstanding teachers though there drug rate is very high. Many teachers are not able to control the drug and alcohol levels of the students.

Canton High School has a wonderful music department. The band is outstanding and continuously finishes at the top of contests entered. Canton has a history of excellence in their music department and this has never changed. Unfortunately, however, Canton is a 'Sportsminded' town. Their lives revolve around the football program, and music is often times pushed to the side. Many think that the band is there only to march at the halftime shows of the football team.
