Jay Stream Has not only an awsome group of students and faculty, but the BEST doggone set of administrators and secretaries in the entire district. (Not to mention an equally awsome Friday morning copy room volunteer)

This is an excellent school with resources for both gifted and challenged students. The staff are dedicated and caring and the students know that they are valued and that expectations are high for their success. There are activities for almost every interest a student could have and many teachers attend after-school activities to show their support for the kids.

Jay Stream has excellent leadership in the workings of the administrators and staff. I am currently a volunteer at the school although I no longer have a student there. There are many opportunities for students to get involved: in clubs,(Outdoor Club), theater,(Music Man), athletics,(basketball, volleyball, wrestling, track, cross country), and other activities,(Yearbook, Cheerleading), which are greatly supported by the entire staff and student body. Teaching experience varies with some teachers having 25 years+, while others are new to the profession. They complement each other very well. There is also a before and after school program, (The Jay Zone) available. The PTA is an active group, but as usual, is always looking for more ideas and volunteers. Overall, I have been very pleased with my children's and my own experiences with Jay Stream.

Jay Stream Middle School is a great school. My son is being challenged and learning so much more academically. I am very thankful in the way the teachers take time in helping students in their shortfalls. I also look forward to continual growth for son.

I'm a student at Jay, and I think it's a pretty good school. We learn alot, and it's challenging enough. I think they need to reform the way things are run in the lunch room. Almost anyone can get away with cutting in line, but if you drop a wrapper on the floor, the lunch ladies start yelling at you within seconds.
