Heritage Lakes Elementary School

I think Heritage Lakes school has provided a superior education for my children. I believe the teachers challenged the student to perform their best. I've had great experiences at almost every grade level. In general there is strong parental involvement. I suspect the school report card may be a little skewed because heritage Lakes does host students from other areas of the district: The 4th/5th grade magnet classroom for CCSD 93 is located at Heritage Lakes. There are also 5 Instructional classrooms with students from around the district.

The reason why we chose to move to Carol Stream and to attend Heritage Lakes was because of test scores that were provided in local Chicago newspapers/websites. That was in 2004. We made the absolute right decision and never looked back. The school has always lived up to its reputation as a solid house of learning. The teachers are absolutely fantastic. My son's first grade teacher (Mrs. Flood) was an absolute pleasure to work with. She always communicated with us as necessary and always had helpful information if ever any academic or social issue arose. She was great with e-mail or paper communication, and as a parent you never felt 'left out' with regards to what was happening in her classroom. As for our second grade teacher (Mrs. Sanchez), she was also equally fantastic in her role as a 15 year teacher. Wonderful office staff as well. You won't be dissapointed!

i went to this school and my entire family and i absolutely loved it! the teachers are so helpful and the principal is oustanding!
