This is one of the best school districts in southern Illinois....fabulous teachers and great disciplines....the ratings of Great Schools.net are a total joke.
This is the best school I have ever attended and the only one and i have enjoyed it and have for 9yrs. so i will leave you on this note that carrier mills is a very educated school with very experienced staff!!!!
On November 1st of this year this school encouraged students to come to school dressed as the opposite sex. In other words, the girls dressed like boys & the boys dressed like girls. Apparently, some of the boys wore false breasts. Is the the kind of 'education' you want your child to experience? Not me. I'm writing to my Congressman and launching a campaign to put this 'event' in the media spotlight.
Worst run school any of my 4 children could have attended!
