My son started at Catlin Grade School in the middle of his 5th grade year. There was an instant change from the beginning. When asking what he learned in school today, instead of getting the usual "nothing" comment, he would go on and on about all the things he was learning. I give credit to the that teacher,a long time educator in that school, because he really knows how to motivate kids and get them involved. In my opinion, that is what makes Catlin a great school, the teachers really do care about the students, and want them to learn, not just for state or federal scores on a piece of paper, but learn about life in general. I am really happy we made the move to go there.

If you're looking for a good school in Vermilion County I recamend Catlin Elementry for older students I recamend Catlin High School. If you have a fifth grade student, when you sign up for school please ask if your child may have Jim Wolfe for their teacher. In my opinion he is the best teacher at Catlin Elementry. Catlin Elementry has about 400 students each year. Which is a very small amount of students if you me. Well I hope that I have made up your mind for you and that you decide to go to Catlin Elementry or Catlin High School. P.S. good Luck
