I have been going to this school since I was 5 years old. I am almost 13 now. My mother has gone to this school. My sister has gone to this school. and my 20 year old cousins have gone to this school and had some of the same teachers. Our teachers make sure we know the material and we get all the help we can possibly get. We study MONTHS before testing for the ISATS. The people there accept you for who you are, not based upon your religious or political views, unlike some schools. schools are for learning - not religion or politics. we are open to the public. that means race, past, religion, political views, everything. we are all equal there and we are all there to learn. we have many special events that reward us. we have excellent RTI and AR systems. Our teachers are amazing. This school has been open before my grandparents were born. This is the school my MOTHER attended . This is school is my second home.

I would just like to stress that we as a school district have had a lot of problems in the past, but we are trying very hard now to make things right. We are a very high quality school system that has many dedicated professionals on staff. We are very committed to providing a quality education for our students and we do not in any way discourage parents from playing a part in their child's education. We encourage anyone who disagrees with this to take a more updated look at our school. We are doing all we can with the resources available to us. If this does not seem like enough, then instead of complaining about us, help us accomplish our goal of providing the best quality education possible. We are not perfect, but we are striving to be the best school district we can be.

i do not like it for so many reson i think they should close the school it is going to were they can not have pe or study hall my kid brings home too much work

I have been a volunteer at this school for the past two years. I help the children read in our cross-categorical class. I go to the school four days a week,about three hours a day. I was told by the superintendent not to talk or spend time with the teachers. I feel as a parent, I should have a relationship with the teachers.
